LinkOpps.com offers marketplace services for buying and selling text link advertisements. If you wish to sell text link ads on your websites, list them here for prospective buyers. If you wish to buy text link ads for your websites, list your requirements here for prospective sellers. Listings on the site are made Free of Cost. The website is designed for site owners to deal directly without brokers or middlemen who usually take out a big chunk of money for themselves. Sellers keep all the money here and, dealing directly with buyers, can certainly offer a better deal.

Registration

To make listings on the site and use its other features you need to register. It only takes a minute or so to complete the registration. As soon as you fill-up the registration form and click Register, an e-mail is sent asking you to verify your e-mail address. The e-mail contains a link which you need to click or copy and paste in your browser address bar. Once done, you are verified and your registration is enabled.

Member Login

Your e-mail address is your login ID which, along with your password you selected while registering, will enable you to get access to the Member's Area of the site. From here you can create a new listing, upload pictures to your listings and edit existing ones. You can change your password if you so wish and update your preferences for newsletter and e-mail address. You may also subscribe to receive links to new listings posted on the site in your selected categories.

Listing Submission

When you wish to create a new listing, login to the Member's Area via the Member Login link at the top. Inside, click on the link New Listing in the left side menu. This will bring you to the category selection page. Please select a category most appropriate to your listing. As soon as you do, you will be taken to the listing form. You can always go back and select another category if you made an incorrect choice. Category headings convey broad meaning as to the type of property. Suggest a new category or sub-category if your listing so requires.

Listing Details

Title: This is usually your site name followed by your marketing slogan. This is the first thing a visitor is going to pay attention to and decide whether to explore your listing further.

Description: This box is for the sales copy of your site. Describe in detail what you have to offer to prospective text link ad buyers or sellers.

Site Owner: Shows the name of the site owner followed by his/her e-mail address or e-mail contact form. This information is taken from the data submitted at the time of registration and will be shown in all listings made by this person.

Ad Types in Listing:

Site-Wide Links - Sellers: Links that are shown site-wide, followed by the URL of the site, Google PR, Alexa Rank, Link Price, Period of the link (Options: Month, Quarter, Half-Year, Year, Permanent), and Buy Link Now to make payment which could be either a page on your website or a payment gateway.

Site-Wide Links - Buyers: Links that are shown site-wide, followed by the URL for which link is required, Min Google PR required on the other site, Max Alexa Rank required for the other site, Link Price offered, and Period of the link (Options: Month, Quarter, Half-Year, Year, Permanent).

HomePage-only Links - Sellers: Links that are shown on a site's homepage only, followed by the URL of the site, Google PR, Link Price, Period of the link (Options: Month, Quarter, Half-Year, Year, Permanent), and Buy Link Now to make payment which could be either a page on your website or a payment gateway.

HomePage-only Links - Buyers: Links that are shown on a site's homepage only, followed by the URL for which link is required, Min Google PR required on the other site's homepage, Link Price offered, and Period of the link (Options: Month, Quarter, Half-Year, Year, Permanent).

Internal Page Links - Sellers: Links that are shown on a site's internal pages only - up to three URLs can be shown in one listing, followed by the URL of the pages, Google PR of the internal pages, Link Price, Period of the link (Options: Month, Quarter, Half-Year, Year, Permanent), and Buy Link Now to make payment which could be either a page on your website or a payment gateway.

Internal Page Links - Buyers: Links that are shown on a site's internal pages only - up to three URLs can be shown in one listing, followed by the URL for which link is required, Min Google PR required on the other site's page, Link Price offered, and Period of the link (Options: Month, Quarter, Half-Year, Year, Permanent).

Listing Approval

The submitted listing remains hidden from the public until the Site Administrator approves it. Approvals take about 24 hours. Do not use all caps in the listing title.

Premium Listings

Premium Listings are displayed on the Front Page and respective Category Pages above all other listings. A Premium Listing costs $35 for One Month (30 Days), $60 for Two Months (60 Days), and $75 for Three Months (90 Days). In addition, you may make listings with a bold title. Bold Listings costs $2 each and are sold in lots of 5 for $10. Payment can be made from within the Member Area by selecting the appropriate payment package. Payment is accepted through PayPal or 2CheckOut. Selecting a listing to make it Premium or Bold is done from the Listing Extras link inside the Member Area after you have made the payment.

Listing Searches

While one can browse through the listings by category, people often search with keywords. The keyword based searches are confined to words appearing in the Title and Description boxes. So keep in mind while creating your listing to include keywords for which you would like your listing to be found by others.

Listing Duration

Listings are made for 30, 60, 90 days selected by the site owner. One week before expiry, you will be sent an e-mail about this. You can renew or re-list if you are still looking to buy or sell text link ads. You can edit and update your listing anytime and as many times as necessary. You can certainly delete it if it is no longer required.

Marking Listings

If you have fulfilled your requirements, you may wish to mark your listing as Sold Out to avoid getting new offers. This is done from your Member Area. On the detail page the listing will show as Sold Out. You may unmark Sold Out by marking it Available again as and when necessary.

Payment Refund

If your premium listing is refused for some reason, the credit for that listing will be added back to your account and can be reused. Should you so wish, a refund can be authorized for a refused listing. If for some reason your listing is removed by us from the site pre-maturely, pro-rated refund of listing cost will be made. There is, however, no refund if you decide to pre-maturely delete your listing on your own.

Listing Notification

You can subscribe to receive notifications of new listings in your selected categories. Whenever a new listing is published on our site in your selected category, an e-mail containing a link to that listing will be sent to you. To use this feature you must become a registered user.

Listing Comments

Users can comment on listings should they so wish. This requires registration and you must login before being able to add a comment. The listing owner is notified of any such comment posted and may respond to such posts. Your comments can be appreciative or critical based on your experience with the site owner but abusive comments will be deleted and membership priviliges maybe withdrawn.

Site Navigation

We have tried to keep the navigation of the site as simple and intuitive as possible. The links at the top and the bottom will appear on all pages enabling you to go to any of these pages from anywhere on the site. The detailed listing page has the links to tell-a-friend about a listing, bookmark it, print it, and more. Listing stats are shown on the detailed listing page. In addition, your Member Area will have information on the number of people who contacted you via the contact form, the total number of listings and views. Do give your suggestions on improvement - it will be appreciated.

The service is provided "As Is" without any warranty of any kind. We are not responsible for any loss or damage you may suffer or incur as a result of your making a listing with us. If you do not accept this, do not list here. Buyers and Sellers - exercise due diligence. You are solely responsible for your decisions.

Privacy Policy

Information Collected

We require your name and e-mail address to be submitted while registering and may be published with your listing on our site so that interested persons can contact you. We may communicate with you occasionally in connection with the services provided by us.

Sharing Information

We do not share information with third parties. Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our website.

Business Transition

In the event LinkOpps.com goes through a business transition, such as a merger, being acquired by another company, or selling a portion of its assets, users' personal information will, in most instances, be part of the assets transferred.

Notification of Changes

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post the changes here so that you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances we disclose it.
